HOPE

🔷 Exactly five years on from the worst period of my life, I look back and remember that horrible time, how badly my heart hurt and how quickly my life spiraled downhill.

I learnt a few things that maybe could give hope to someone who has or may be going through a dark time themselves🙏

🔹When you hit rock bottom all the stuff that doesn’t matter falls away and what does matter stays with you. You find out what is indestructible about you. For me it was me, my faith and my courage.

🔹Hitting rock bottom and having a broken heart was not the end. It was the beginning. It was where my life really began.
Most of the magic that has happened in my life has happened since my heart was shattered. You can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel but it is there, shining brighter than you imagine.🌟

🔹Pain, no matter how deep you feel it, eventually lessens, it eventually gets better.
Sometimes life will beat you to the ground so that you barely feel alive. It will try to keep you there if you let it. But like Rocky said it’s not about how hard life can hit you, it’s about how hard you can be hit while continuing to move forward.
It began with just me and some faith and some courage, telling myself to do the next right thing, over and over, because taking one day at a time was just too long. Doing the next right thing again and again will eventually lead you to create a beautiful life around you.

🔹Spend time healing. Don’t be afraid to be alone. Become your own best friend. People may give advice and guidance but its important to listen to your own heart.
Avoiding the pain and staying busy as much as possible will not help you in the long run and will only intensify the pain.

🔹The pain will never leave fully, but it will be a reminder of how much thanks I need to give for the life I have right now and how much I need to cherish each moment.

We will continue to grow and experience life, even with our wounds. It will only add to the depth of our performance and the authenticity of our character.
Being grateful will help us reach a new level of life.

🔹Forgiveness will free you.
One of the hardest things to do.
Whether it’s forgiving yourself or someone else it’s not simple or easy but it will free you to LOVE and LIVE Fully.

I believe that the darkest moment in life really has lead me to a greater purpose.
I feel extremely connected to people who are grieving and as a result I can help them on a higher level and bring them through the darkness.
⭐️God will direct the winds of the storm to blow you where he wants you to go🙏

Here’s to living each day to the full 👫
And in the words of Brendon Burchard
‘Live fully, love openly and make a difference today.’
